This is the beach. Maya Bay became world-known as paradise on Earth in 2000 when the lagoon was visited by Leo DiCaprio and the rest of the cast from ‘The Beach’. Located in the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand, this beach has attracted tourists from all over the world due to the exceptional rock formations surrounding the lagoon and almost see-through water. Actually, the bay was so popular that the beach had to be temporarily closed for visitors… But don’t worry – paradise will soon be available for visits again!
